ISLAMABAD- The relations between Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan People’s Party have taken a severe hit, after PPP cochairman Asif Ali Zardari WhatsApped his selfies with US President Donald Trump to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, sources close to the PM have told Khabaristan Times.
Sources also confirmed that PM Nawaz is ‘katti’ with President Trump, after being overlooked for his inauguration ceremony.
“After the fantastic call that Mr Trump shared with Mian saab, the PM found it shocking that he wasn’t invited to the inauguration ceremony,” a PM House source said. “That Zardari saab was invited to the ceremony has really upset Mian saab. Of course, the intimate selfies of Zardari saab and Trump saab really jolted the PM.”
Reports also confirm that PM Nawaz Sharif has unfollowed both Zardari and Trump on Instagram and Snapchat. “Mian saab has sent messages to both leaders to unlike the cat videos he has shared on Facebook, because they do not deserve such cuteness,” another source said.
Reports further add that the PM might ask his younger brother, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif to drop the construction project of the US-Mexican wall. “But he is afraid that Shahbaz will not take it well, because of his infatuation with concrete, cement, iron and construction,” sources said.
In the latest step, PM has unfollowed both Trump and Zardari on Facebook but has sent both a message about it as well. “The irreversible friendship ending act of unfriending either on Facebook has not yet been taken, as Mian saab wants to give Trump a second chance,” the PM House source claimed.
